Danoffice IT generates solar power with The 0-Mission

No one can dictate the colour of the electricity in their sockets, as black and green power mix together in our mutually connected power grid. Through a flexible subscription, Danoffice IT’s electricity consumption is matched 1:1 from a privately financed solar park. The consumption equals the electricity generated by 1,5 km kilometres of solar panels.

Through the electricity generation from the solar park in Vandel near Vejle, Danoffice IT has helped avoid the emission of about 174 tons of CO2e.

This is equivalent to 909 round trips from Copenhagen to Paris by plane.

In order to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement, all companies must contribute to the green transition. Through The 0-Mission, Danoffice IT accelerates the deployment of more renewable energy, built on private demand.

Between the solar panels, bees, insects, and flowers have their habitat. Moreover, no pesticides or fertilizers are used, in order to protect the groundwater resources located underneath the park. The park is managed with special care for biodiversity and the local flora and fauna.
