During COP28 117 countries agreed to triple production of renewable energy before 2030. To achieve this goal we need each and every company to contribute. Carl Ras builds more renewable energy in Denmark

2 km solar panels

Nobody can decide over the color of the power in their sockets. Black and green power is always mixed in grids. But Carl Ras is feeding renwable power from 2 km solar panels into the grid via The 0-Mission.

247 tonnes of CO2e

Via production of power in solar pak Vandel III Carl Ras avoids approximately 247 tonnes of CO2e , which roughly corresponds to 469 Return flights from Copenhagen to Madrid

To limit climate change all companies must empower the green transition. Via The 0-Mission Carl Ras contributes to a business case for 100% privately financed power based on solar energy.

Biodiversity

Between the panels bees, insects and flowers are thriving. Since no pesticides or manure is used, ground water underneath the park is protected. The park is managed to optimize biodiversity.

Carl Ras is a family-owned wholesale company that has existed since 1932. Today, it is one of the country’s largest suppliers of tools, fittings, and workwear to the construction and industrial sectors. Carl Ras also includes the tool suppliers Engros Beslag, 3Aktive, Jydsk Værktøj, and Nordjydsk Værktøjssalg, and owns 20% of the sustainable hardware stores Havnens Hænder and Genbyg. Together, they operate 28 wholesale centers across the country. With a focus on the future and the green transition, Carl Ras is entering a partnership with The 0-Mission in 2025 to contribute to the development of renewable energy in Denmark.
