Egiss contstructs more solar power with The 0-Mission

Through the partnership with The 0-Mission, Egiss contributes to the generation of renewable power from a solar park in Norddjurs municipality. Together with other Danish companies, Egiss drives the development of new renewable energy capacity in Denmark while supporting improvements to local habitats and biodiversity. The park’s developer has also implemented extensive measures to prevent human rights violations throughout the solar park’s value chain. Through this collaboration, Egiss is actively accelerating the green transition.

The Partnership in Short

During COP28 117 countries agreed to triple production of renewable energy before 2030. To achieve this goal we need each and every company to contribute. Egiss supports the construction of more renewable energy in Denmark by partnering up with The 0-Mission.

0 m solar panels

Nobody can decide the color of the power in their sockets. Black and green power is always mixed in grids. However, Egiss contributes to feeding approximately 0 MWh into the grid. 0 m solar panels produces the power.

0 tonnes of CO2e

Via production of power in solar park Ingerslev Å in Norddjurs, Egiss avoids approximately 0 tonnes of CO2e , which roughly corresponds to 0 Return flights from Copenhagen to Madrid

privately financed solar park

To limit climate change all companies must empower the green transition. Via The 0-Mission Egiss contributes to a business case for 100% privately financed power based on solar energy.

Biodiversity

Between the panels bees, insects and flowers are thriving. A beetlebank was created and areas of tossock grassland and shrups was planted around a pond. Native planting belts will over time provide a visual screen for neighboors.

Egiss was founded in 2013 with a desire to become the first IT reseller to be able to provide fast and reliable deliveries of specific IT hardware and tech devices to large global enterprises with multiple locations around the world.Egiss was founded with a clear vision of focusing on one thing – providing a customer-specific catalogue of IT hardware and tech devices that can be configured (if needed), delivered and invoiced at the same price all over the world from fully managed warehouses and legal entities around the world.

Når I har underskrevet kontrakten er produktionen fra en del af parken reserveret til jer. I løbet af et år kommer jeres del af parken til at producere lige så meget strøm baseret på solenergi, som I forbruger.
