Matching your energy

We've got your back,

Nanna

Lunar is raising the bar on sustainability. After securing renewable energy for our offices, we’re now taking it a step further: extending this green benefit to your home, thanks to The 0-Mission.

We believe real change happens when we multiply our impact. That’s why we’re making every Lunar employee an active part of the green transition, with no extra effort required!

How does it work? For every kilowatt-hour you use at home, Lunar will match it by feeding the same amount of green power into the country’s energy grid. It’s our way of making your everyday energy use part of something bigger.

You’re helping drive the green transition, just by being part of the team!

POWERING ONE EMPLOYEE AT A TIME

How it all works

For this first year, we’re matching your 2025 electricity consumption using Denmark’s official national average, so we’ll estimate each household at roughly 3,500 kWh per year.
Power affects climate change
Even though much of our energy is renewable, electricity use is still a major source of CO₂e emissions. The average household generates about 1.5 tonnes of CO₂e annually.
What does 1.5 t of CO2e look like?
Driving an average petrol car for 6,400 km
Producing about 270 kg of cheese or 3,600 kg of potatoes
Taking a round-trip flight from Copenhagen to New York
What 65 mature trees would absorb in one year
15 m2  is all it takes
Your yearly electricity can be covered by the output from just 15m² of solar panels. When this solar power is fed into the grid, it pushes out energy from dirtier sources like coal, biomass, and gas.
100% privately financed
The solar park powering your consumption is 100% privately funded, meaning new facilities are generating additional, clean energy for the whole country.

Ingerslev Å solar park

The Solar Park matching your consumption is Ingerslev Å. It was connected to the grid in June 2025 in Norddjurs Municipality.

The park features bifacial solar panels, capturing both direct and indirect sunlight, and a large battery system that allows it to supply clean electricity even at night or whenever needed in the grid.

Designed with nature and people in mind, the park is surrounded by nearly 4 km of natural hedgerows, and a beetle bank provides nesting and shelter for insects, small mammals, and ground-nesting birds.

Construction work was carried out under safe and fair conditions, supported by social auditing and daily toolbox talks.
